Thank you for shopping with Awaam App. We aim to ensure that every customer has a satisfactory experience when purchasing products or services through our platform. This Refund & Return Policy outlines how refunds, replacements, and cancellations are handled for all transactions made through Awaam App.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are available only under specific circumstances. To be eligible:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or not as described by the vendor.
  • The order was cancelled before processing or dispatch.
  • The vendor fails to deliver the order within the committed time period.
  • The service provided does not match the description or agreed terms.

Digital goods, perishable food items, and personalized or handmade products are generally non-refundable unless proven defective or incorrectly delivered.

2. Refund Request Process

  1. Contact our support team within 48 hours of receiving the order via support@awaamapp.com or through the in-app help section.
  2. Provide your order number, proof of purchase, and photos/videos showing the issue.
  3. Our team will review the request and coordinate with the vendor to verify the claim.
  4. If approved, your refund or replacement will be processed within 5–10 business days.

3. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used for the transaction unless otherwise agreed. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.

4. Non-Refundable Items & Services

  • Perishable food and bakery items once delivered.
  • Personalized or custom-made items.
  • Digital downloads, software, or activation codes.
  • Services that have already been performed (e.g., repairs, installations).

5. Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order before it is processed or dispatched by the vendor. Once shipped or prepared, cancellations may not be possible. In case of successful cancellation, the refund will be initiated within 3–5 business days.

6. Vendor Responsibility

Awaam App acts as a digital platform connecting buyers and sellers. Each vendor is responsible for product quality, packaging, and delivery. Refunds are issued only when vendors confirm or fail to respond to verified claims within the review period.

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of disagreements between buyers and vendors, Awaam App may step in to mediate. Our decision will be based on evidence and communication history. The goal is to ensure fairness and protect both buyers and sellers.

8. Policy Changes

Awaam App reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website and app. Continued use of our services after updates implies acceptance of the revised policy.
